This place is an oasis of hope and miracles. My brother elected to go here 5 years ago and they really helped him with alcoholism and offered support to us (his family) as well. They are truly a light in the dark. I called a counselor, I believe on a Monday and we had my brother financially cleared and admitted by Thursday. They allowed him to make monthly payments for the balance owed, once he was discharged. My brother continues to struggle with his addiction and is looking at going back to La Hacienda for a 2nd go round. He worked his butt off working the program and staying in recovery and then became complacent and fell face first into the mud. If you fall off that horse- then dust yourself off and get right back on - today is a 2nd chance and a gift. Thank you La Hacienda
Everyone is understanding there. But, I’m having a seriously hard time tonight and couldn’t get ahold of my people locally. So I called at 2:15 am tonight and spoke with Sheila one RN there and thank God she was there because she and I truly bonded and I trust her. And that isn’t easy when you have PTSD and abuse. I cannot begin to describe the understanding, compassion, support and even love I just experienced. These words aren’t near enough. I’m so thankful. And even though no person can fix an addict...she gave me the most hope I’ve felt since leaving. Thank you Sheila...you have no idea what you did for me tonight. Also, the Dr’s are phenomenal...for me especially the young Dr. Boone and Dr. McQueen. There’s so much compassion...that we addicts aren’t used to. My counselor Natalie...has forever changed my life to. For the first time in 38 yrs of trauma and abuse I’m making progress and have hope that it can be done!! Thank you all!! You have no idea how your center has changed my life!!! Love you all. There is hope.

I spent a month at this place and honestly it was pretty tight. The case managers were great, and pushed you when you needed it. The only downside to LaHa was the food. The stuff is a step above jail food, it sucked. Overall, LaHa as great

At 51 years of age, hopeless chronic alcoholic and prescription drug addict. Still had a house and family but no soul. I didn't even know what spiritual meant. 2 weeks at LA Hacienda and I was hearing things I had nave heard before. So. I made as much of a commitment my weak mind could do and the obession stopped for the first time. My family was stunned. 12+ years later still sober and still amazed. I recommend La Hacienda to anyone and everyone.
it a place were people's can go and get the help they need and get to learn about Jesus the one who die for all of us life will change if you let god be the Center of your life
