Burning Tree Lodge, the staff, and the experience of the program itself literally saved my life. I had been to 7 treatment centers before Burning Tree Lodge, my family was up in arms with my continued relapses and outrageous behavior. They were also heartbroken and terrified. For me, it took a very strong, highly intentional program like Burning Tree Lodge to help arrest the progress of my disease. While It may not be the right program for everyone, it was the right one for me, my family, and the many life long friends I shared the experience with as a client. I told someone on the phone just this afternoon that some mornings I wake up and I just can't believe how amazing my life is today. Thank you Burning Tree! For EVERYTHING!

I know burning tree lodge is the reason I'm alive today. It may have been difficult and if you're a woman I suggest you invest in plenty of wide leg cotton pants and shirts because the dress code is strict but overall it's not the place itself that's important it's the staff, and they care more than any other place ever has and before going there I'd gone to some of the worst and best rehabs in LA. Overall I think they made me become a better and stronger person.
My name is Aaron Stacey I went to Burning Tree Programs back in Jan, 2009. I am from Portland, Maine I had been to 4 very well known 30- 90 day impatient treatment centers prior to admitting at BTP not to mention Oxford Houses and many other sober livings. I would discharge from these places and go back home then I would be right back at it again using drugs and alcohol even though I truly didn't want to continue using. I had lost everything that I cared about living for I was on the brink of death or prison. My close friend helped me get into Burning Tree, there I received very high level of care. I also was shown how to recover from this deadly disease of addiction/Alcoholism. They also didn't let me do what I want which a lot of these other past treatment centers seemed to be just collecting a pay check while they let residents do whatever they want. I am so grateful for the staff and peer support I received while at Burning Tree Programs. I have a life beyond my wildest dreams my relationship with my family has been restored, I get to work in the Recovery field myself now I've become fully self supporting. I must admit I wouldn't have the life I have today if it wasn't for the Philosophies and beliefs that they operate in and teach at Burning Tree Programs.
As a chronic relapser, which meant numerous treatment experiences, I had lost all hope that a life sober was even attainable. There was nothing comfortable about Burning Tree, but comfort couldn't keep me sober. My family was changed thanks to Burning Tree. They realized how much their lives were being affected by addiction.....and they learned how to deal with a chronic alcoholic/addict in their family. They could no longer try loving me sober. Forever grateful for Burning Tree Jay S. 10/19/08
